The precise date for when Cthulhu will join the fray didn’t come with the announcement, but he will arrive sometime in mid-June. His profile will be available to players even earlier than that, though, as it will go live on the SMITE website come May 27.

On the same day, Hi-Rez Studios will also give players a first look at the character. The studio will be hosting an Update Show on SMITE’s Twitch channel at 3 pm ET. Once the show finishes, Cthulhu’s profile will go live, and grant players access to the character’s lore and abilities.
In the meantime, Hi-Rez provided a new trailer of the god for players to take a look at. Of course, it doesn’t feature any Cthulhu gameplay, but it is a nice cinematic that does detail where the character stands in relation to his fellow gods.
SMITE is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
